The incidents of cow vigilantes taking law in their hands and beating people on the suspicion of carrying beef sparked widespread protests in the last five year. Now, one more incident has come to light. A couple and two men were thrashed by a group of cow vigilantes for allegedly carrying beef in an autorickshaw at Seoni village in Madhya Pradesh. In a video of the incident shot by an eyewitness went viral on social media. In one video, the men, wearing saffron scarf are seen tying a person to a nearby tree and thrashing him with stick brutally. They are seen not only beating him but also abusing him repeatedly. In another video of the same incident, the men can be seen forcing the victim to beat the woman who was accompanying him. the woman was seen being hit repeatedly with a slipper on her head, covered with a piece of cloth, as she takes the blows in silence from the attacker.
