On Monday, the Rajya Sabha lifted the suspension of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha, who had been suspended during the Monsoon session for purportedly breaching privileges.
Chadha, the Rajya Sabha representative from Punjab, faced allegations of not obtaining consent from five MPs before including their names in a select committee discussing the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill 2023.

The bill aimed to curtail the authority of the elected AAP government in Delhi over services. The decision to revoke Chadha’s suspension was made during the ongoing parliamentary proceedings.
