Bilkis Bano Case Convicts Seek Extended Surrender Time

Following the Supreme Court’s annulment of their early release order, three convicts in the Bilkis Bano case submitted a request for an extension in their surrender period from six to four weeks. Govindbhai, among them, highlighted his role as the primary caregiver for his elderly parents. Meanwhile, Ramesh Rupabhai Chandana sought a six-week extension, citing the necessity to organize his son’s wedding.
