India has successfully tested the second phase of its ballistic missile defence system. The DRDO launched the phase-II ‘AD endo-atmospheric missile’ from LC-III at ITR, Chandipur. The defence ministry stated, “The flight test fully met all the trial objectives,” demonstrating India’s capability to defend against 5,000-km range ballistic missiles. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised the DRDO for this achievement.
