Mumbai Cops Recover Rs 3.70 Crore In Cyber Fraud

Swift intervention by the Mumbai police, following a complaint lodged at Cyber Helpline ‘1930,’ prevented unauthorized transactions of nearly Rs 3.70 crore. The victim, who lost a total of Rs 4.56 crore to online fraud on January 4, was promised attractive stock investment returns. In 2023, the helpline saved Rs 26.48 crore lost to cyber fraud after victims contacted the police.
