American Math Teacher Invites Indians To Blow The Trumpet On February 2

Mumbai: The perplexing math associated with February 2 will bring smiles to music lovers in India right after the sobering arithmetic of Budget Day.On Wednesday, Ron Gordon, a retired mathematics teacher from California, USA, has invited Indians to join him in celebrating a wonderful new day.Comprises: 2222 is written on February 2, 2022, which is commemorated as Trumpet Day because of its visual impact-too, too, too!To celebrate the day, no one needs a trumpet.

Ron says that Trumpet Days are rare.In a century, we have only two true Trumpet Days: 2222 and 2222.Two other items merit recognition: 222 is only a toot short, and the upcoming February 22, 2022, or 22222, is a little too long, he laughs.Louiz Banks, a stalwart instrumentalist from India, was a master trumpeter who later took to the piano.

I love the connection between 2222 and the musical instrument. The note is actually close to the trumpet, so it is appropriate in a funny way.In fact, I wish this was a biannual celebration, because then people would commemorate the trumpet on February 2.Banks said it is a beautiful instrument.

On his website www.trumpetday.net, Ron has curated a Trumpet Day contest for which the highest prize is $2,222.Entry requirements must be submitted within 2+2+22 days of Trumpet Day, January 20, 2022, to February 15, 2022.Ron was also on the lookout for strange date connections, and on April 4, 2016, he declared Square Root Day, 4416.He had given it a proper name because four is the square root of 16.

Around these times, the number of views and hits on his website from around the world tends to peak.
