India-Pakistan clash will affect Afghan peace talks: Taliban

Kabul | Taliban amid an ongoing clash between India and Pakistan worried that the tension between the neighbouring countries would impact the Afghan peace process.

In an issued statement Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said, “The continuation of such conflict will affect the Afghanistan peace process.” Taliban further urged India to refrian from further military actions, He stated,“India should not carry any further violence in Pakistan because its continuation will affect regional security. Also the continuation of such conflict will cost a lot to India”.

After the Indian Air Force’s air strike on terror camps in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (Pok) on Tuesday early morning in retaliation Pakistani fighter jets on Wednesday violated Indian air space in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch and Nowshera sectors.
