New IT Award For Institutes In Maharashtra Named After Former PM Rajiv Gandhi

The Maharashtra government has decided to name an award after former Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced that the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award will be called the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award. This move came a day after India’s men won the hockey bronze at the Tokyo Olympics and hours after the India women’s hockey team missed out on a maiden Olympic medal.
