Indians “Discharged” From Russian Army After India’s Demand: Centre

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) disclosed that following India’s request, numerous Indian support staff members serving the Russian army were discharged. Reports suggest Indians were compelled to engage in combat alongside Russian soldiers along the Russia-Ukraine border. Last week, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal emphasized New Delhi’s communication with Moscow to expedite the discharge of Indian support staff and advised Indians to steer clear of the Ukraine conflict zone.
