Seattle Cop Fired Over ‘Limited Value’ Remark In Jaahnavi Kandula Death Case

Seattle police officer Daniel Auderer was fired for making insensitive comments about 23-year-old Jaahnavi Kandula’s death. Chief Sue Rahr termed his behaviour “unusual” and explained the decision to the department, citing the case’s international attention. Kandula died after being struck by a speeding police vehicle. Auderer, not involved in the collision, was recorded making inappropriate remarks about her death.
