Mithun Chakraborty Claims 38 TMC MPs Are In Contact With BJP

Actor and politician Mithun Chakraborty warned that a situation like the Maharashtra crisis could happen with West Bengal’s TMC.

Mumbai: On Wednesday, the BJP MP, Mithun Chakraborty claimed that currently 38 TMC MPs in contact with the BJP, and 21 of them are in direct contact with him. Alerting everyone the actor said, “A situation similar to Maharashtra could happen any day. It could also happen tomorrow.”

The BJP welcomed the actor into its party ahead of the Bengal Assembly elections last year in a bid to win big in the state. Speaking of the “anti-Muslim” image of the BJP, the actor said: “The three biggest stars in the country right now are Muslims: Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Amir Khan. How is this possible? The BJP is in power in 18 states. How can their films make the biggest collections in these states if the BJP hates them or the Hindus don’t love them? ” he asked.
“I got to where I am now because Hindus, Muslims, and Sikhs love me,” he added.

The actor and politician also spoke about the arrest of Bengali minister Partha Chatterjee in connection with the state fraud of teachers- SSC scam. ā€œIf there is no evidence, he has no reason toĀ be afraid.Ā But if heĀ didĀ something wrong, no power in the world can saveĀ him, “heĀ said.
