Coronavirus Cases In India Register Single Day Hike Again, 80,000 Cases In Last Five Days

In the last five days, 80000 Coronavirus patients were recorded in the country. Of these, 50701 positives i.e. 70% cases were found only in Delhi, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.

 

New Delhi| According to the Union Health Ministry figures, in the last 24 hours, 17296 cases of Coronavirus were reported and 407 people died. With this, the total number of infected in the country has increased to 490401. There are 189463 active cases among them. At the same time, 285636 people have been cured. So far 15301 people have died.

Indian Council of Medical Research said that 215446 tests were done in the last 24 hours. At the same time, until June 25, 77,76,228 sample tests have been done in the country.

In the last five days, 80000 patients have increased in the country. Of these, 50701 positives were found only in Delhi, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. This number is over 70%.

Maharashtra recorded the highest single-day jump in COVID-19 cases with 4,841 new cases, pushing the state’s case count to 1,47,741. 192 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. Mumbai reported 1,365 new cases with the state capital’s tally now at 70,990 cases. The recovery rate in Maharashtra and Mumbai is above 50%.

Delhi which has the second-highest number of Coronavirus cases in the country recorded a total 73780 cases. Out of this, 26586 cases are active, 44765 have recovered and 2429 have died in the national capital.
