India Records Another High With More Than 3.32 Lakh Coronavirus Cases In The Last 24 Hours

While the rapidly increasing cases of Coronavirus remains a concern, an increasing number of daily deaths is also alarming. On Thursday, the death toll due to Coronavirus was 2,256.

 

The pace of Coronavirus in the country is continuously rising. After recording the highest single-day death toll in the world on Thursday, India has yet again touched a new high of Covid-19 cases. Within the last 24 hours, India recorded more than 3.32 lakh cases of Coronavirus. This is the second consecutive day when the country reported more than three lakh patients. Earlier on Wednesday, 3.15 lakh people were found infected.

While the rapidly increasing cases of Coronavirus remains a concern, an increasing number of daily deaths is also alarming. On Thursday, the death toll due to Coronavirus was 2,256. This is the highest number of people who died within one day due to Covid-19. Earlier there were 2,101 deaths on Wednesday and 2,021 on Tuesday.

1.92 lakh people recovered within a day

On the other hand, the pace of recovery of coronavirus patients in the country is also increasing continuously. A record 1 lakh 98 thousand covid patients recovered in a day on Thursday. This is the highest number of people who have recovered in a day since last year. Earlier on Wednesday, 1.92 lakh people were recovered.

The number of active patients will now cross 25 lakhs

In the country, the number of active cases i.e. patients who are being treated will cross 25 lakh today. The number of such patients has increased by a record 1,37,671 in the last 24 hours. Earlier on Wednesday, the maximum increase of 1.34 lakh active cases was reported within a day. Now the number of such patients in the country has increased to 24,22,080.
