Mumbai| Shah Rukh Khan contributed 25,000 PPE kits to frontline healthcare workers in Maharashtra to help them in the battle against the highly infectious COVID-19 pandemic.
Rajesh Tope, Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare of Maharashtra, thanked the superstar via Twitter for his donation.

Earlier it was announced SRK’s NGO Meer Foundation will work with the Maha and WB govts for the supply of 50,000 PPE for healthcare professionals.

PM Narendra Modi while declaring the lockdown extension said that states and citizens have collectively suggested extending the lockdown.
PM has extended the lockdown till 3rd May indicating that a strict lockdown will be followed till 20th April.
After 20th April, some restrictions in unaffected areas will be lifted after analysis.
PM says that whatever relaxations granted during the shutdown to some areas will be upon conditions. And even if there is one new case reported in the area, the relaxations will be taken back.
