New Delhi| A day before the Assembly elections in Delhi, the Supreme Court heard a petition demanding the removal of the protesters from Shaheen Bagh. During the hearing, a bench of Justices SK Kaul and Justice KM Joseph said, “We understand the problem, but we have to think about how to resolve the issue.” Given the problems of traffic, an immediate order should be given to Shaheen Bagh.
However, Justice Kaul said in a gesture said that the bench will hear the matter next Monday. He appealed to the petitioner to wait.
