Trainee Pilot and Captain Killed In A Plane Crash In Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Officials are currently considering the technical fault as the cause of the accident. After investigating the incident, the exact cause will be known.

 

Bhubaneshwar| Two-seater trainer aircraft crashed shortly after take-off in Dhenkanal district of Odisha. Captain Sanjeev Kumar Jha and trainee pilot Anees Fatima died in the accident. Jha was from Bihar, while Fatima was from Tamil Nadu. The bodies of both have been sent for postmortem. The accident occurred on the Birasala Airstrip.

Upon receiving the information, officials of the Government Aviation Training Institute and administration reached the spot. Officials are currently considering the technical fault as the cause of the accident. After investigating the incident, the exact cause will be known.
