Former Union Minister and BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad has targeted the caretaker Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar.

Talking to news agency ANI, he said, “Whether Nitish Kumar won the 2020 elections under the leadership of Narendra Modi or not? When he won in the name of Narendra Modi, today he has insulted the support of the people of Bihar… what is this? If BJP was troubling you then why were you staying for 2 years.”

Bihar BJP Chief Sanjay Jaiswal said after Nitish Kumar’s resignation from the Chief Minister’s post that, ‘We fought the 2020 elections together under NDA, the mandate was for JD-U and BJP, despite that we won more seats, Nitish Kumar CM was created. What happened today is a betrayal of the people of Bihar and the BJP.

After submitting his resignation to the Governor, Nitish Kumar while talking to the media said, “All the MPs and MLAs agreed that we should leave the NDA. Soon after, I resigned as the Chief Minister of Bihar.”

Kumar said that all the meetings with the MPs of both the houses, all the MLAs and the members of Legislative Council were held today. “Everyone’s wish was that we should leave NDA. So as everyone wished, we accepted the same and submitted the resignation from the post which was the Chief Minister in the NDA government.”

The politics of Bihar witnessed a big change within a day. Within a day, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar resigned from the chief minister’s post, breaking the alliance with the BJP. By evening, with the support of MLAs of seven parties, he has claimed to form the government after meeting the governor.

The leaders of all the seven parties have met the Governor. Tejashwi Yadav, son of RJD leader and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, was also accompanying Nitish Kumar.

Talking to the media, Nitish Kumar told that he has the support of 164 MLAs. 164 MLAs are from 7 political parties and they also have the support of an independent MLA. Nitish Kumar said that the memorandum of support of all the 164 MLAs has been submitted to the Governor. We have asked the Governor to organize the swearing-in ceremony at the earliest.

Nitish Kumar told the media that all the people of our party believed that we should separate from the NDA, after which I took the AAP decision.

Hitting out at the Bharatiya Janata Party, Nitish Kumar said that a controversy (communalism) was being hatched to disturb peace in the state, which he did not like.

Talking to the media, Nitish Kumar also said that he was not ready to become the Chief Minister due to less number of seats in the 2020 assembly elections. He said that he became the Chief Minister after repeated requests from the Bharatiya Janata Party.

While talking to the media, Tejashwi Yadav targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party and said that seven parties have considered Nitish Kumar as the leader of their party.

He said that now there is no BJP ally left in the Hindi belt areas. He further said that or history tells that BJP tries to destroy the one with whom it lives.

With this allegation, he gave the example of Punjab, Maharashtra and Bihar.
