INS Kolkata, Carrying 35 Pirates Caught Off Somalia, Reaches Mumbai

The Navy announced that the INS Kolkata, with 35 pirates captured during an operation near Somalia, arrived in Mumbai today. Subsequently, the pirates were transferred to the custody of the Mumbai police. This operation was conducted as part of the ongoing Operation Sankalp, aimed at safeguarding maritime trade and seafarers in the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
