โ€œJails Will Break Openโ€ฆโ€: Kejriwalโ€™s Slogan As Deputy Sisodia Attends CBI Questioning

Sisodia

Ahead of Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodiaโ€˜s questioning by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in liquor policy scam case, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter to post the slogan- เคœเฅ‡เคฒ เค•เฅ‡ เคคเคพเคฒเฅ‡ เคŸเฅ‚เคŸเฅ‡เค‚เค—เฅ‡ เคฎเคจเฅ€เคท เคธเคฟเคธเฅ‹เคฆเคฟเคฏเคพ เค›เฅ‚เคŸเฅ‡เค‚เค—เฅ‡ (โ€œPrison locks will break, Manish Sisodia will be free). With this slogan, Mr Kejriwal also shared a video of  Mr Sisodia addressing supporters before he headed to the CBI for questioning.

However, the slogan comes at a time when there has been no official information on Mr Sisodia being arrested yet.

Addressing a crowd gathered for roadshow before he headed for questioning, Mr Sisodia said the government wants to imprison him, but he is a follower of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh, and is not afraid of going to jail.

โ€œ20-year-olds sacrificed their lives for our freedom struggle. The nation demands sacrifice once again. The nation demands once again someone who is not scared to go to jail, and we are proud that we donโ€™t fear that,โ€ the Delhi Deputy CM said.

โ€œThey raided my home, nothing came out of it. They went to my village to find anything against him, but they got nothing. Now they plan to arrest me to stop me from campaigning in Gujarat. I am not afraid of CBI, ED (Enforcement DIrectorate) or going to the jail.โ€

โ€œEven Bhagat Singh had to go to jail for the country,โ€ Mr Sisodia said.

the BJP, hitting back at the AAP over the roadshow, said it seemed like โ€œAam Aadmi Party has won the World Cup of corruptionโ€.
