“PM Did No Favour To Farmers By Signing Kisan Nidhi File”: Congress

Akanksha Yadav

Congress attacked PM Narendra Modi for “making a great show” of signing his first file on granting the 17th instalment of the PM Kisan Nidhi funds. The main opposition party claimed that Modi did no special favour to farmers by releasing the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi fund, which was due to them a month ago but was delayed because of the Model Code of Conduct. Ramesh criticized the PM, suggesting genuine farmer welfare requires MSP legal status, loan waivers, quick insurance, import-export consultation, and no GST on inputs.
