Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj asserted that Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi’s Chief Minister, faces imminent arrest this week. He also affirmed AAP’s alliance with Congress for the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
Bhardwaj claimed AAP received intelligence suggesting Kejriwal’s arrest upon forging a multi-state alliance with Congress. He criticized the BJP’s apprehensions over an AAP-Congress coalition, highlighting recent CBI actions. AAP MP Sandeep Pathak suggested BJP’s dissatisfaction with the alliance, noting attempts to target Kejriwal.

Amidst this, the ED’s seventh summons to Kejriwal adds to the political tension. Discussions on seat-sharing between AAP and Congress are nearing completion. Congress will likely secure three of Delhi’s seven seats, leaving AAP with the remaining four.
