New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Monday addressed the media ahead of the monsoon session of the Parliament.
In his address, he said “This is the period of the Amrit Mahaustav(75years) of the Independence.15 Aug has special importance, and for the next 25 years before the country celebrates 100 years of Independence we have to decide the journey of these 25 years, The pace we will achieve, the heights we will achieve, and the leaps we are going to take. We must take a resolution and dedicate that resolution to take the country in the right direction.”

The PM further said that this session holds importance because of the Presidential and Vice Presidential elections and the Nation will also get its new President and Vice President during this tenure.
“We have always considered the house as a capable medium of dialogue, we consider it as a sacred place where there should be an open dialogue, if required debate, there should be criticism as well, there should be an in-depth analysis so that there is best possible output in policy and decision-making process.”Mr. Modi said.
Appealing to the members of parliament the PM said “I appeal to all Members Of Parliament to provide the house with in-depth- contemplation, in-depth discourse and cooperation of all to make the house more and more productive and fruitful.”
He further said, ” The house runs with everyone’s efforts, with efforts of all the house takes the right decisions and also to raise the dignity of the house we all should perform our duties.”
Concluding his address he said “Always remember the dreams of those who sacrificed their youth, their lives, spent their lives in jails for the freedom of the country. And during a time when 15 Aug is just around the corner, the house must be utilized to the optimum.”
