“15 independent candidates in our contact” says Devendra Fadnavis

It was pretty evident that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was somewhat upset because the BJP did not achieve the expected success.


Mumbai| The people of Maharashtra have given a clear mandate to Mahayuti. There is no doubt that BJP-Shivsena alliance government will be formed in the state. Addressing a press conference today, CM Devendra Fadnavis thanked the voters. He said, “We will now strive to do better than we have done in the past five years.” Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today expressed confidence that he will give a strong government.

Uddhav Thackeray, on the other hand, recalling the formula, has demanded an equal share of power. Responding to it, Devendra Fadnavis said, “We will go according to what we have decided.” The Chief Minister also claimed that six of the elected rebels will accompany Mahayuti.

Chief Minister Fadnavis came to the BJP office and celebrated with the workers and leaders after the picture of the state election result was clear. He then spoke at the press conference. It was pretty evident that the Chief Minister was somewhat upset because the BJP did not achieve the expected success.
