Mumbai: As it is confirmed by the sources to HW News, that ShivSena’s candidate will be sworn as Maharashtra Chief Minister for the whole five years. Sanjay Raut earlier also said the party’s leaders want Uddhav Thackeray to become Chief Minister and lead the government. There are also speculations made that Sanjay Raut and Arvind Sawant are the front runners for CM’s post.
The current sources say that all three parties (Maha Vikas Aghadi) leaders are pitching Uddhav Thackeray to take charge as Maharashtra’s next CM. Today a meeting of Congress NCP top leadership took place at Dhananjay Munde’s residence. As per our confirmed sources, both the parties have pitched the chief ministers.
Meanwhile, Congress leader and EX- chief ministers Prithviraj Chavan has been asked to be one of the Deputy CM and sources say that Chavan doesn’t want to take the responsibility of Deputy CM. Instead of that, he has demanded the Revenue Ministry. So Congress party is now in bit confusion and they have got only one choice left with them that is Balasaheb Thorat.
On the other hand, NCP leader Ajit Pawar has been asked to take charge as Deputy CM, but he has also refused. Sources told HW news that Ajit Pawar is not comfortable working under ShivSena- Raut- clan.
All three parties’ meet is likely to take place at the Y B Chavan center. But whether ShivSena will come to Y B Chavan is not confirmed. ShivSena leaders have never before here visited the Y B Chavan center.
