PM Modi ‘Very Angry’ at LG Baijal for Not ‘Creating Enough Obstacles’ for Delhi, alleges Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi “is very angry” with LG Anil Baijal for not being able to create “sufficient obstacles” for the Delhi government.

Aam Aadmi Chief wrote on Twitter that “I am told PM is very angry wid present LG. PM thinks Mr. Baijal not creating sufficient obstacles. Becoz despite all obstacles by LG, Del govt doing phenomenal work for people. That’s the reason Mr. Jung was also removed.”

Since the formation of the AAP government in Delhi, the government had a series of disagreement with the Lieutenant Governor office over various government projects and proposals. Kejriwal further added that this was also the reason for former L-G Najeeb Jung being removed from the post 18 months before his tenure was to end.

The chief minister also wrote to Baijal seeking his intervention in taking up the matter with the central ministries to resolve the crisis-like situation at the earliest.

Kejriwal posted a second tweet saying, “My sources tell me that PM wants LG to do everything possible to stop AAP govt’s good work in education, health, water n electricity. We will not let that happen. Good work will continue. God is wid us. People are with us.”
