#VIDEO: Yediyurappa allegedly admitting ‘Operation Kamala’, says National leaders knew

In the video, the voice can be heard saying, “It is Yediyurappa who takes the decision in the region. I took the decision for 17 MLAs.”

Bengaluru| In fresh trouble, Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa, a video has surfaced in which he can allegedly be heard admitting the ‘Operation Kamala’. The video has gone viral.

Apparently, the video was shot during the meeting of BJP’s core committee in Hubballi recently. Here, Yediyurappa was addressing the party MLAs. While audio (allegedly of Yediyurappa) can be heard in the video, the video doesn’t show any faces.

In the video, the voice can be heard saying, “It is Yediyurappa who takes the decision in the region. I took the decision for 17 MLAs.” It further says that the national leaders knew that the rebel MLAs were kept in a Mumbai hotel for almost 2 months. “For three months, they didn’t go to their constituency or even see their wives or children. Whether we win or lose, it is a different issue. We gave it a shot.”

However, further, in the video, he can be heard schooling the BJP MLAs. It says, “But at a serious time like this, in spite of knowing that they (rebel MLAs) got us to form the government.” It says that the MLAs resigned and went to Supreme Court but the BJP MLAs didn’t stand up for them. It can be further heard asking, “Imagine you were in their spot? What would you do?”

The video indicates that the BJP MLAs have problem with rebel MLAs.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Siddharamaiah said that what Yediyurappa & Amit Shah did was a conspiracy to murder democracy & a violation of the Constitution. “Both the Chief Minister and Home Minister have no right to hold a constitutional post,” he said.

Congress leader KC Venugopal said that the party will approach the Supreme Court with evidence. He said, “We have always said that BJP is misusing govt agencies to poach MLAs, now it’s established beyond doubt. We’ll approach SC with the evidence.
