Editorial With Sujit Nair: Different Rules For Rich Borrowers and Poor Borrowers

The bank loan repayment process for the rich borrower vs poor borrower is different in India. While middle class borrowers get threats, harrassment and humiliation, the rich borrowers get huge haircut on their debts. This is very much evident from the case of Videocon, Bhushan Steel, Essar Steel, Alok Industries, Monnet Ispat, Ruchi Soya and Countless other defaulters who owed thousands of crores of rupees debt to the public sector banks but were settled for an amount with big haircut. In this episode of the Editorial our Managing Editor Mr Sujit Nair shares his take on the matter. #RuchiSoya #Videocon #EssarSteel #BhushanSteel #MonnetIspat #AlokIndustries #JyothiStructures
