External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Thursday said that no Pakistani civilian or soldier was killed in the Balakot airstrike. She said the Indian military was clearly told that no Pakistani civilian should be killed and also there should be “not even a scratch” on the Pakistani Army. At a time when PM Modi is appealing voters to vote for BJP in the name of Army and Balakot airstrike, Sushma Swaraj’s statement echoes more matured and saner voice from the leadership.
