Members of ‘Hindu Yodha Sangathan’ Throw Objectionable Material At Mosques In Ayodhya, Held By Police

“At a time when Muslims in India are celebrating the holy month of Ramzan, some miscreants in Uttar Pradesh tried to disturb peace and law and order situation. However, the Uttar Pradesh police nabbed the culprits in time. Objectionable material was thrown outside three mosques in Uttar Pradesh by these miscreants with an intent to outrage religious sentiments. The UP police on Thursday, arrested seven people for allegedly throwing pieces of pork, letters abusing Muslims, and torn pages of an Islamic text at some Mosques in Ayodhya in an attempt to instigate communal violence. As per the police, those arrested belong to an outfit called ‘Hindu Yodha Sangathan’ and the leader of the group is a history-sheeter with four criminal cases registered against him.

Police said they did it in an attempt to disturb the peace to protest against “the recent incident in Delhi”.

The police also said that they have registered four FIRs in connection with the above-mentioned incidents that took place at the Taatshah Jama Masjid, Ghosiyana mosque, a mosque at the Kashmiri Mohalla, and a Mazar known as Gulab Shah Baba.
