One seat will be Amethi while the other seat might be Maharashtra’s Nanded. Nanded is considered Congress’ bastion in Maharashtra. Currently, former chief minister of Maharashtra Ashok Chavan is the Member of Parliament from Nanded constituency. Nanded has been a stronghold of Congress for more than five decades but that’s not the only reason why it can be a good option for Rahul Gandhi.
