Sharad Pawar dismisses rumors of going with BJP, says party will sit in the opposition

Sharad Pawar was asked whether he will form an alliance with ShivSena If then that will be a different scenario to see?

Mumbai| On Friday, The National Congress Party (NCP) head Sharad Pawar in an interview with CNN Network 18 cleared the air of forming an alliance with ShivSena.

Sharad Pawar was asked whether he will form an alliance with ShivSena If then that will be a different scenario to see?

Pawar replied saying “We have always played fair and clean politics and believe playing so. Elections are elections after elections end this kind of air starts blowing. We need to understand this and we have to. By any chance, this air is to be believed then it’s good. But we will like to sit in opposition and work”.

This indication clears the stand of NCP of forming an alliance with ShiveSena which has started from yesterday after the results were announced.

Uddhav Thackeray in his press meets after the election result state that before the election they understood the status of BJP and agreed on fewer seats instead of 50-50 share. but now it’s impossible for ShivSena to understand BJP more as he needs to think for his party as well.

After which news started coming in of Shiv Sena forming an alliance with Congress and talks are happening in Centre. Sooner Friday morning Congress confirmed to share their shoulder with Shivsena by offering them the Chief Minister seat of Maharashtra.

Senior NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal also said in Press Conference that it is up to Sena now they want to be the CM or Vice CM of Maharashtra.

ShivSena minister Sanjay Raut also tweeted on Friday morning a tweet a cartoon projecting a tiger with a lotus in hand with a locket of the clock in the neck.

This somewhere shows the chances of alliance amongst, ShivSena and INC-NCP. But Sharad Pawar has shown a red flag to it.
