Why Yogi Adityanath’s UP Victory May Be Bad For BJP In 2024???

“With just four months to go for assembly elections in five states including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand, the political activities in these states are gaining momentum. But, one state which is being keenly watched is the state of Uttar Pradesh. The biggest state of India, Uttar Pradesh hosts the maximum number of parliamentary seats. It is a general understanding in Indian Politics that the road to Delhi goes from Uttar Pradesh, which means if one has to rule over the country, they first have to ensure that they win UP. The Bharatiya Janata Party knows it well. The 2017 UP assembly elections turned BJP’s fortunes around and it is the saffron grip on the state that helped it win 2019 Lok Sabha elections. So, Be it the BJP or the opposition, the 2022 UP assembly elections are going to be very important for them and the fact is they also realize it. In a way, UP elections outcome will help us gauge the direction in which country’s politics is going in, especially keeping in mind the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. thus, it becomes imperative to look at the early predictions for the next year’s UP elections to understand which direction the wind is blowing, what are the trends and other aspects that generally skip the public eye. In this episode today we will talk about the ABP-C Voter opinion Poll for UP election but in a different context. In fact, our managing editor Mr Sujit Nair has spoken about the opinion poll in his editorial yesterday, you can check out the video for the details. I’ll be particularly talking about Uttar Pradesh and pick up from where the ABP-CVoter analysis ends. Basically, what happens if the prediction comes true. Of course, again, I’ll reiterate that whatever figures that I’m going to talk about are ABP-CVoter figures. The analysis is completely based on the survey. There’s no way to guarantee if the final outcome too will be the same as survey. So we will begin keeping in mind this point.
