“India To Develop Its Own AI Model In 10 Months”: Ashwini Vaishnaw

Union Minister of Electronics and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, has announced that India will take a significant step in Artificial Intelligence (AI) by developing its large language model (LLM) like ChatGPT, which was created by the USA and Deepseek by China.

Vaishnaw said the AI model will be ready in the next 10 months. While attending Utkarsh Odisha Conclave, Ashwini Vaishnaw told reporters, “Over the last 1.5 years, our teams have worked closely with startups, researchers, professors, etc. Today, we are calling for proposals to develop our foundational model. The model will take care of the Indian context, languages, and culture devoid of biases.”

New Political controversies are emerging every day ahead of the Delhi Elections 2025. A fresh controversy has emerged. The Delhi Police detained Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal on Thursday.

The arrest comes after Maliwal dumped garbage outside Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. Swati Maliwal was escorted away in a police van.

On Thursday, Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal staged a Cleanliness protest in Delhi. During the protest, Maliwal dumped garbage outside the residence of AAP’s National Convenor, Arvind Kejriwal.

According to reports, Swati Maliwal and local residents staged the protest in the National Capital. Maliwal first visited a garbage dump in the Vikaspuri area. Maliwal and her aides picked the waste from roads in Vikaspuri.

The waste was then collected into three mini trucks. furthermore, the trucks were labelled as ‘Kejriwal ka kooda’ (Kejriwal’s Garbage). These trucks were then taken to the former Delhi CM’s house on Firozshah Road.

Upon reaching the site, they dumped the heap of Garbage in front of Kejriwal’s house. Female police personnel then escorted her to the site, where she was removed.

In a post on X, Maliwal wrote, “There have been heaps of garbage on the roads in Vikaspuri for years. People are very angry. They are going to collect all this garbage and dump it at Kejriwal’s house,” she wrote in the post.

She further added, “The condition of the entire Delhi has deteriorated. The filth and stink that Delhiites face daily will be faced by Kejriwal ji today. The public is coming, Kejriwal ji, don’t be afraid.”

As the Delhi Police took Maliwal in the van, she spoke to the media. She said, “The whole city has turned into a garbage bin. I came here to have a conversation with Arvind Kejriwal.” If she had a conversation with Arvind Kejriwal, she would tell him, “Sudhar jao warna janta sudhar degi (Mend your ways, or the people will do it for you).”

She further criticised the AAP chief, saying, “We will take this garbage to Arvind Kejriwal’s residence and ask him what to do with this filthy gift he has given to every area of Delhi.”

Well, this is not the first time Maliwal has put up such a stunt. In November, Maliwal threw ‘polluted water’ outside the residence of Delhi Chief Minister Atishi. Swati Maliwal said that the same polluted water is being supplied to Delhi.

Rajya Sabha MP Maliwal seems to have a habit of putting her party into tough situations. Previously, Maliwal alleged that she was assaulted by Arvind Kejriwal’s aide, Bibhav Kumar, at Kejriwal’s residence on May 13.
