Three Indian Photojournalists Win Pulitzer Prize For Kashmir Coverage

Three Associated Press photojournalists won the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for their work covering Kashmir post abrogation of article 370.

New Delhi| Photojournalists of news agency Associated Press, Dar Yasin, Mukhtar Khan, and Channi Anand, won the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for feature photography for their “striking images of life” in Jammu and Kashmir during clampdown.

After the central government abrogated the special status of the erstwhile state under Article 370 of the Indian Constitution there was a complete information blackout for at least seven months in the valley.
